Terms of service

Effective October 12, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and TagKite, based in New York, USA. They apply when you use TagKite. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

What TagKite is

TagKite helps Etsy sellers research keywords and improve their listings. It is an independent tool. The term “Etsy” is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This Application uses Etsy's API, but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy.

TagKite is in beta. Features may change, pause or be removed while we build it, and we may limit how many people can use it.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
• Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• If you think someone else has accessed your account, tell us right away at hello@tagkite.com.

Connecting your Etsy shop

When you connect your shop, you authorize TagKite to access the Etsy data you approve and, if you allow it, to update listings for you. TagKite changes a listing only after you approve that specific change. You can disconnect at any time.

Etsy's own terms and policies still apply to your use of Etsy. You are responsible for your listings, including their accuracy and their compliance with Etsy's rules and the law.

Estimates and suggestions

Keyword figures, competition measures and other numbers in TagKite are estimates based on the data available to us. We show where each figure comes from, but we cannot promise any ranking, traffic or sales result. Suggestions written with AI may contain mistakes; review them before you use them, and make sure they describe your product truthfully and don't use other people's trademarks.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use TagKite to break the law, Etsy's terms or anyone's intellectual property rights;
• scrape, copy or resell data from TagKite, or use it to build a competing data set;
• try to get around usage limits, access other users' accounts or interfere with the service;
• use TagKite to copy other sellers' listings, photos or designs;
• share your account with people outside your business.

Plans, billing and cancellation

The beta is free. If we introduce paid plans, we will show prices, limits and refund terms before you buy, and we will charge you only after you choose a plan. Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your account, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We will email you before any annual renewal.

Your content

You keep ownership of your listings and anything you enter into TagKite. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy policy.

Our service

TagKite, its software, design and brand belong to us. You may use the service for your own selling business under these terms.

Ending your use

You can stop using TagKite and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or Etsy at risk; where possible, we will tell you why first.

Disclaimers

TagKite is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not give warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Etsy may change or limit its API at any time, which may affect what TagKite can do.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, TagKite is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost sales, profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you have not paid us. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

If we make a significant change, we will update the date above and tell account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use TagKite after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. This does not remove any consumer protections you have under the laws of the country where you live.
